1 Introduction

This guide provides a brief introduction to the Energistics data exchange standards—RESQML, WITSML, and PRODML—and an overview of the Energistics Common Technical Architecture (CTA) and available resources. The CTA was developed to provide a common technical foundation of shared resources to make it easier and more efficient to implement Energistics data-exchange standards.
