16.5 Measurements

Topic Version1Published12/09/2016
For StandardPRODML v2.0

The measurements produced by the Instrument Box for a temperature profile typically comprise a set of records containing contextual data followed by the temperature records. The contextual data identify the well, the equipment, the date and time, and various calibration data. The temperature records contains the length along the fiber of the temperature sample, the computed temperature, and measurements of the Stokes and anti-Stokes intensities, and other measured curves as appropriate to the Instrument Box concerned.

Part V: Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS)
